William P. Kiehl, Ed. D is a former editor and book editor of American Diplomacy. Following a 33 year Foreign Service career with the U.S. Information Agency and Department of State in Europe and Asia, he founded the international public affairs consultancy PDWorldwide in 2003.. His doctorate in Higher Education Management is from the University of Pennsylvania. He is the author of Global Intentions/Local Results: How Colleges Can Create International Communities, editor of America’s Dialogue with the World and The Eagle and the Elephant: Thai-American Relations Since 1833. He has lectured and written extensively on public diplomacy and international affairs and is currently a contributing columnist for LNP newspapers.
