Melissa Clegg-Tripp is a former Senior Foreign Service Officer with a background in public diplomacy. Her assignments include tours in Europe, South America, Africa, and the Middle East in addition to domestic assignments in Washington, DC. At some point, she competently spoke French, Spanish, Turkish and Arabic. She earned a B.A. from Bryn Mawr College, a M.A. from New York University, and a M.S. from the National Defense University. She and her “tandem” (fellow Foreign Service Officer) husband have two children.
