The International Intelligence History Association (IIHA) will hold its annual conference in cooperation with the Department of History of the Martin-Luther University, Halle-Wittenberg, Germany, from 11 to 13 July 2003 at the LEUCOREA, an academic foundation of the University located at Lutherstadt, Wittenberg.
The Conference deals with the topic “Intelligence and Political Enemies, Intelligence and Terrorism in the 20th Century.” Papers submitted should address the structure, surveillance, suppression and counter-intelligence activities and related developments of intelligence services and their influence on political change.
Conference languages will be English (preferred) and German. The program will be organized by:

Send proposals for papers, including a one page abstract and a short c.v. to Prof. Rupieper as soon as possible. The conference chair and the association especially encourage submission from younger researchers and advanced postgraduate students.
