Assessing the Presidency of George W. Bush at Midpoint:
Political, Ethical and Historical Considerations

Proposals are sought for an interdisciplinary conference on the policies, accomplishments and reversals of the administration of George W. Bush. The conference will be held on the Gulf Coast Campus of the University of Southern Mississippi, 22-23 November 2002.
The conference specifically seeks essays to address topics including: foreign and domestic policy, economic policy, the war on terrorism, media coverage of the presidency, the 2000 presidential election, and ethical dimensions of public policy and legislative initiatives. Selected essays from the conference will be included in an edited volume on the presidency of George W. Bush. Paper proposals should include a 150-word abstract and brief biography or C.V. Deadline for proposals is 1 June 2002.
