The current Editor of American Diplomacy, Dr. William P. Kiehl will step down following the June 13, 2011 issue. He will continue as a Board Member and the Book Editor of the journal for the foreseeable future, however.

We are delighted to announce that Csaba Chikes, a retired Foreign Service Officer with the former U. S. Information Agency and more recently employed by the Department of State in several positions, will take up the duties of Editor following our usual summer hiatus. Mr. Chikes’ first issue will appear on September 12, 2011.

Our June 13 issue, the last before our summer break, will feature a bio of the new Editor and a selection of “Greatest Hits” from the archives selected by Csaba Chikes.
